The Store:

Lizard Thicket, established in 1981, prides itself in selling the latest, most fashion-forward styles and accessories at surprisingly affordable prices.  Our stylish clientele can wear our threads with the confidence that their wardrobe is as unique as they are.  We carry a limited quantity of each piece, and with fabulous new merchandise arriving almost daily, our selection is constantly changing.  Have fun with fashion—we do!

There are currently three locations in Georgia – Peachtree City, Newnan, and Carrollton and one location in Chandler, Arizona .  In September of 2010 the Newnan store was purchased by Ashley Bedosky as the first Lizard Thicket franchise.  In June of 2011, the third Lizard Thicket franchise was purchased by Caroline Jordan.  It is now open in the Boulevard Shops at Chandler Fashion Center!  Ashley Bedosky opened her second Lizard Thicket franchise in October of 2011 in Carrollton, GA at McIntosh Plaza.  Our fifth and sixth franchises are already in the planning stages. The Founder:

The founder, Sheri Waynick, has over 30 years in the fashion business and loves every minute of it.  “Although work days average 14 hours, it never feels like work when you love what you do,” says Sheri.  “Our customers are why I love this business.  I continue to be amazed at the loyalty of so many people who shop in our stores.  Looking forward to the next 30 years of fashion and fun!”

            All of our employees are actively involved in community service work and truly believe we are all in this together to “Be the Change”.  Our community service ranges from mission work, partnering with Christian City’s Home for Children, Relay For Life, Bikers Riding For Awareness, Red Carpet Day, Race for Riley and many more.  We are committed to serving others!
